Situated on the east coast of Anglesey, to the north of the village of Moelfre, the sandy beach measures more than half a mile at its widest point. Lligwy is a relatively sheltered and secluded beach surrounded by limestone rocks and agricultural land, it is popular for swimming, fishing and a range of watersports. There is pleasant walk from the beach in both directions along the Anglesey Coastal Path. Beach cafe; Moelfre, half an hour’s walk along the coast path, has a shop and a couple of cafes and a pub. Dogs are allowed.
