A large sand and pebble beach with views towards the Llyn Peninsula and Llanddwyn Island on Anglesey; the foreshore consists of natural pebble banks with vast areas of sand from mid-tide level. Miles of superb sands, easy parking, attractive promenade and play areas. The area is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and part of the land is managed by the RSPB as a Local Nature Reserve. The Reserve is an ideal habitat for nesting lapwings and the site is managed to encourage their breeding. Blue Flag & Seaside Award beach. Shops, cafes and toilets are located nearby. Free parking. Dog restrictions apply April to end September.
