Church of St. Mary and All Saints

Conwy Parish Church, founded in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary and All Saints, was originally the Cistercian Abbey of Aberconwy whose foundations were marked out in the late 12th Century. In 1283 Edward I removed the Abbey to Maenan, a few miles up the Conwy Valley and St.Mary’s became the Parish Church. The Parish registers date back to 1541. The church contains interesting monuments, windows and fittings.
